Una ulteriore promettente opzione chirurgica, miniinvasiva , e con riscontri in letteratura internazionale, si basa su innesti di biofibre C.E. cioè di capelli artificiali ad alta compatibilità, previo ovviamente un test di compatibilità.

Nel corso degli anni , questa tecnica ha avuto una maturazione , specialmente per quel che riguarda l'evoluzione dei materiali, ed oggi può essere affiancata , in casi particolari , alle altre tecniche chirurgiche.

Interessante l'articolo , pubblicato su Dermatologic Surgery nel 2007, che affronta la correzione con questa tecnica delle cicatrici (glabre)del cuoio capelluto.
